본 연구는 독서 모임에 참여한 중년여성들을 대상으로 독서 모임 과정에서 나타난 생애 경험의 내용을 기술하려는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 과제를 수행하기 위해 먼저 독서 모임에 참여한 중년여성 중 레포 형성이 되어있고 자신의 감정을 잘 표현하는 참여자를 선별하여 12회기의 프로그램을 진행하였다. 진행 전 과정을 녹취하여 전사하였고 회기별로 활동지의 활동내용과 에세이 자료를 수집하였다. 자료의 내용을 반복하여 읽고 경험과 의미를 구별하여 의미단위를 구성하였고 의미 단위를 공통된 주제로 묶어 분석하였다. 분석한 자료를 귀납적으로 다시 재구성하여 가족과 자신에 대한 인식의 변화를 중심으로 서술하였다. 독서모임 독서 프로그램 활동을 경험한 중년여성은 생애 경험 중 가족에 대한 경험을 재인식하고 통찰함으로써 가족의 미래에 대한 인식이 긍정적으로 변화하게 되었다. 또한 자신의 생애 경험을 재인식하고 통찰함으로서 긍정적으로 받아들이게 되었다. 연구 결과를 통해 독서 모임의 프로그램 활동이 중년여성 자신의 성장과정에서 생애 경험 중 원가족에 대한 경험을 객관적으로 재인식 하게 되었다. 현가족에 대한 생애 경험 중 현가족의 과거와 현재에 대해 재인식하고 통찰하게 되었으며 이를 통하여 현가족의 미래를 긍정적으로 받아들이게 되었다. 또한 독서 모임에서 독서 자료와 독서 모임 집단 원 사이의 상호작용을 통해 생애 경험 중 자신의 과거와 현재의 생애 경험을 재인식하고 통찰함으로서 자신에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하게 되었으며 자신의 역할에 대해 통합하게 되었다.
The study aims to describe the life experiences of middle-aged women who participated in a reading group that was conducted in the style of a reading club. For the task of study, firstly we had selected the middle-aged woman who formed rapport and expressed her own emotion in the reading club and had done the programof 12 sessions. The Whole-progression process was recorded and transcribed and activity content and essay materials of the venue were collected for each session. The collected data was read repeatedly, and semantic units were constructed by distinguishing experiences and meanings, and these semantic units were analyzed according to a common theme. The analyzed data was inductively re-configured to describe changes in participants’ perceptions about family and self. The conclusion of this study is that the middle-aged women who participated in this reading program generally experienced a change in their perceptions of the future of their families by reminiscing about their experiences and gaining insight into their family experiences. Each participant also gained insights in her own life and career experiences and gained positive recognition as a result of this program. Through study result, the middle aged woman who participated program action of reading club had objectively recognized anew the experience about the origin-family in her own growth process in the midst of her life. She had recognized anew the past and present family in the midst of present-family’s life, and discerned, and positively accepted the future of the present-family. Also, she had a perception positively about herself, and unified her own role through a new.
