본 연구의 목적은 한국군 군사혁신의 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있는 군사교리를 ‘개념’을 중심으로 분석하고, 효과적인 군사교리 발전방안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구결과와 발전방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전투발전체계의 기준이 되는 개념발전을 구체적이고 체계적으로 발전시키기 위해서는 개념서를 기본개념서 외에 분야별,기능별 또는 제대별로 구분해서 작성하고, 아울러 미래에 대한 효과적인 준비 방향을 제시한다는 의미에서 개략적으로나마 ‘중기개념서’를 추가로 발전시켜야 한다. 둘째, 개념과 연계된 군사교리 발전시켜야 한다. 셋째, 개념서를 평문과 비문으로 구분해서 작성하여 접근성을 향상시켜야 한다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 한국군의 개념서를 어떻게 세분화하는 것이 적절한지는 제시하지 못했다. 따라서 향후 연구과제는 개념서의 작성 종류 및 확대 수준, 포함내용, 접근성 향상 방안 등을 연구해야 한다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the military doctrine, which occupies an important part of the military innovation of the Korean military, with a focus on ‘concept’ and to suggest effective military doctrine development plans. The research results and development plans are as follows. First, in order to develop the concept development, which is the standard of the combat development system, in a concrete and systematic way, the concept book should be written separately by field, function, or army in addition to the basic concept book, and in the sense of suggesting effective preparation directions for the future. The medium term concept should be further developed. Second, the military doctrine related to the concept must be developed. Third, the accessibility should be improved by dividing the concept book into plain text and inscription. However, this study did not suggest how to subdivide the concept book of ROK military properly. Therefore, the author hopes follow-up studies will examine the kinds of concept paper worked out, the scope of its expansion, included contents, and plans for the improvement of accessibility to it.
