본 연구는 한류와 관련된 부정적인 요인이 무엇인지 탐색하고자 한다. 그리고 문화콘텐츠 분야 전문가를 활용해 해소 방안을 모색함으로써 향후 한류의 지속적인 성장과 발전에 필요한 시사점을 제안해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 한류와 밀접한 관련이 있는 문화콘텐츠 업계, 학계, 정부 유관기관 등 다양한 전문가 10명을 대상으로 한류의 위기란 무엇인지, 그 위기의 요인에 대해 알아보았다. 더불어 한류의 지속적인 발전을 위해서 위기 극복을 위한 방안도 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 한류위기는 한류콘텐츠(드라마, 음악, 영화) 자체에 대한 문제와 한류에 대한 호감도 하락과 비호감도 증가와 관련되었으며, 한류 위기 요인은 한류콘텐츠에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 그리고 한류의 지속적인 발전을 위해서는 정부 차원의 노력이 필요하며, 한류콘텐츠 경쟁력 제고 지원부터 해외 불법복제물 근절 등 저작권 보호, 국가 간 부정적인 정서 해소 등이 제시되었다.
This study aims to explore negative factors related to the Korean Wave. In addition, by using Korean Wave-related experts to find solutions, I would like to propose implications for the continuous growth and development of the Korean Wave in the future. To this end, a survey was conducted on 10 various experts, including Korean Wave-related industries, academia, and government-related organizations. These experts learned what the crisis of the Korean Wave is and the factors of the crisis. In addition, for the continuous development of the Korean Wave, measures to overcome the crisis were also examined. As a result of the study, the Korean Wave crisis was related to the problem of the Korean Wave content itself, the decrease in favor and dislike of the Korean Wave, and the factors of the Korean Wave crisis were different depending on the Korean Wave content. In addition, efforts at the government level are needed for the continuous development of the Korean Wave, and copyright protection such as the eradication of overseas illegal copies, and resolving negative emotions between countries were suggested.
