본 연구의 목적은 노인장기요양보험 내 물리치료사의 안정적 확보방안을 도출하는 것이다. 이 연구는 노인장기요양보험 database 분석을 통해 물리치료사 인력의 공급현황과 추이를 파악하였고, 다음으로 장기요양기관을 운영중인 기관장을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 물리치료사 인력 확보가 어려운 이유와 대책 등을 검토하였다. 연구 결과, 장기요양기관으로의 물리치료사 인력 유입이 낮고, 공급부족 현상이 심화되고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또 물리치료사 인력 공급이 어려운 이유와 잦은 이직이유로 열악한 근로조건과 낮은 임금 등이 높은 비율로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 물리치료사의 안정적 확보방안으로 근로조건 개선과 물리치료사 교육과정에 장기요양기관에서의 물리치료사 업무 명시 및 교육 강화 등이 제언되었다.
The purpose of this study is to find a stable way to secure physical therapists in long-term care insurance. The supply status and trends of physical therapists were grasped by analyzing the database of long-term care insurance, and then a questionnaire survey was conducted on the heads of institutions operating long-term care institutions to examine the reasons why it is difficult to secure physical therapists and countermeasures. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the influx of physical therapists to long-term care institutions was low and that the phenomenon of insufficient manpower supply is becoming more serious. It was also found that the reasons for difficulty in manpower supply and frequent turnover were high, including poor working conditions and low wages. Based on the above results, a method for securing a stable supply of physical therapists was proposed.
