본 연구의 목적은 창업자가 지닌 기업가정신과 창업경험이 기술창업기업의 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 운영 역량과 동적 역량이 매개변수로서 어떠한 역할을 하는지를 분석하는 것이다. 분석 결과, 기업가정신과 창업경험은 기업 성과에 유의하게 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 운영 역량과 동적 역량은 기업가정신과 기업 성과 간의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 운영 역량은 창업경험과 기업 성과 간의 관계를 부분 매개하고, 동적 역량은 창업경험이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향을 매개하지 못하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 기업가정신과 창업경험이 기업 성과에 직접적으로 미치는 영향을 분석한 선행연구들의 한계를 극복했다는 점에서 이론적 시사점을 지니고, 창업경험을 지닌 창업자가 많은 상황에서 창업경험의 역할을 살펴봤다는 점에서 실무적 시사점을 지닌다.
This study aims to examine the impacts of entrepreneurship and startup experience of founders on the performance of technology-based start-ups, and to analyze the mediating effects of operational and dynamic capabilities. As a result of the analysis, entrepreneurship and startup experience had significantly positive effects on firm performance. In addition, operational and dynamic capabilities were found to fully mediate the relationship between entrepreneurship and firm performance. However, it was found that operational capabilities partially mediated the relationship between startup experience and firm performance, and dynamic capabilities did not mediate the effect of startup experience on firm performance. This study has theoretical implications in that it overcomes the limitations of previous studies on the direct impact of entrepreneurship and startup experience on firm performance. This study also has practical implications in that it examines the role of startup experience in many situations where there are many founders with practical startup experience.
