본 논문은 표준어를 사용하는 일반적인 그림책과 달리 지역언어로 표현된 「 나와 사이고님(ぼくと西郷さん)」을 대상으로 외국어 교육에서 지역언어 표현이갖는 의미를 모색하는데 필요한 기초 자료 제공에 목적을 두고 있다. 가고시마지역언어로 표현된 「나와 사이고님」은 실존 인물인 사이고 다카모리의 삶을 서사화한 그림책으로 지역언어 활용 사례를 보여주는 텍스트에 해당한다. 지역언어가 표현되는 다양한 양상을 점검하기 위해 우선 그림책의 스토리 구조를 분석한 후 이를 토대로 어휘와 문장 수준에서 가고시마 지역언어가 사용되고 있는 사례를 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 일본어 교육의 다양성 측면에서 지역언어로 표현된 그림책의활용 가능성에 대해 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.
The purpose of this thesis is to provide the basic data necessary to explore the meaning of local language expressions in foreign language education targeting “Me and Saigo(ぼくと西郷さん)” that utilizes local language expressions unlike general picture books that use standard language. “Me and Saigo”, expressed in the local language of Kagoshima, is a text that depicts the life of a real person, Takamori Saigo, and shows examples of the use of the local language. In order to check the various aspects of local language expression, first, the story structure including the plot structure of picture books was analyzed, and based on this, the case of using the Kagoshima local language at the vocabulary and sentence level was considered. Based on this, we intend to provide implications for the possibility of using picture books expressed in local languages in terms of the diversity of Japanese language education.
