본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대 교육의 접근 방향을 고려하여 유아교육현장에서 적용 가능한 스토리텔링 유아생활발명교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위한 연구 방법으로는 발명교육 및 스토리텔링 선행연구를 고찰하고, 현직 교사 면담을 진행하였으며 이를 바탕으로 스토리텔링 유아생활발명교육 프로그램의 내용 체계를 개발하였다. 전문가 협의 및 예비연구를 거쳐 프로그램의 적절성 및 타당성을 검증하였고, 개발된 시안을 수정, 보완하여 최종적으로 12개의 활동을 구안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 스토리텔링 유아생활발명 프로그램은 기존의 관찰, 탐구, 실험 중심의 정형화 된 유아과학교육의 흐름에서 벗어나 유아에게 창의적이고 유연하며 융합된 과학 경험 기회를 제공하며, 발명교육 접근이 미진한 유아교육에서 발명교육의 방향을 제시하였다는 것에 의의가 있다. 본 연구가 유아교육현장에서 구현됨을 통하여 유아발명교육이 활성화되고, 나아가 4차 산업혁명 시대 국가가 요구하는 창의 융합 인재를 양성하는 기반이 될 것으로 기대한다. 아울러 본 프로그램을 현장 적용, 그 효과를 검증하는 연구가 뒷받침 되어야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to develop a storytelling early childhood daily invention educational program that can be applied to the early childhood education field. As a research method to achieve the research purpose, prior research on invention education and storytelling was considered, and an interview with incumbent teachers was conducted. Based on this, the content system of the storytelling early childhood invention education program was developed. The appropriateness and validity of the program were verified through expert consultation and preliminary research, and 12 activities were finally devised by modifying and supplementing the developed draft. The storytelling early childhood daily invention program developed through this research provides creative, flexible, and fused science experience opportunities to young children, breaking away from the standardized early childhood science education centered on observation, exploration, experiment, and the invention education approach it is meaningful in that it suggests the direction of invention education in the inexperienced early childhood education. Through the implementation of this study in the field of early childhood education, it is expected that early childhood invention education will be activated, and furthermore, it will serve as a basis for nurturing creative convergence talents required by the nation in the 4th industrial revolution. In addition, the field application of this program and research to verify its effectiveness should be supported.
