(Purpose) This paper aims to analyze the socio-economic situations in the cities and counties in Chungbuk province in Korea since the Corona pandemic was spread out across Korea. following and to put forward the new public service delivery system corresponding to the changing environment for public service delivery. It has been more than a year now since the worldwide Corona pandemic began, and it is continuing to have a huge impact on people’s lives. A new method of providing administrative services is needed for the future, and in this study this is discussed taking as an example the changes in people’s daily lives that have been affecting local government in Korea since the pandemic began in January 2020. (Design/methodology/approach) The target area for this study is Chungbuk, which is located in the central part of Korea. The study derives life-changes that are likely to take place in the Chungbuk region following the Corona pandemic into several major topics. It identifies the nature of these life-changes in important regions of Chungbuk, as a prelude to proposing a new method for providing administrative services when the Corona era is over. (Findings) As a result of analysis using the text-mining method, changes in living conditions in the Chungbuk region following Corona were all derived from five main topics. Characteristic changes relating to modifications in administrative services resulting from the pandemic were also derived in important regions of North Chungcheong Province. (Research implications or Originality) This paper implies that when the pandemic is over, administrative service provision in local government should standardize all business processes as electronic civil complaint documents, and should move in the direction of minimizing overlapping and additional writing. In addition, regulations relating to the protection of personal information should be continuously revised.
