본 연구의 목적은 일반긴장이론을 근거로 부정적인 사회적 관계, 우울, 공격성과 사이버비행간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보는 것으로 부정적인 사회적 관계와 사이버비행의 관계에서 우울과 공격성의 매개효과를 확인하는 것이다. 2018 한국아동․청소년패널데이터(KCYPS 2018)를 사용하여 총 2,590명의 자료((남학생 1,405명, 여학생 1,185명)를 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부정적인 사회적 관계는 사이버비행에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 부정적인 사회적 관계와 사이버비행의 관계에서 공격성의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 구체적으로 부모, 친구, 교사와의 부정적 관계 모두 공격성을 매개로 사이버비행에 영향을 미쳤고, 그 중에서도 친구와의 부정적 관계가 공격성을 매개로 사이버비행에 미치는 간접효과가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부정적인 사회적 관계와 사이버비행의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과는 유의미하지 않았으며, 부정적인 사회적 관계가 사이버비행에 미치는 직접적인 효과도 유의미하지 않았다. 따라서 부정적인 사회적 관계와 사이버비행의 관계에서 공격성의 매개효과와 사회적 관계 중 또래와의 부정적 관계가 중요한 요인임을 밝혔다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 사이버비행 예방을 위한 방안을 제안하였다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship between negative social relations, depression, aggression and cyber delinquency applying the general strain theory in order to measure the mediating effect of depression and aggression in the relationship between negative social relationship and cyber delinquency. For this, we analyzed the total of 2,590 students (1,405 male students and 1,185 female students) using the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018(KCYPS 2018). The research results are as follows. First, negative relations did not directly effect cyber delinquence. Second, the mediating effect of aggression in the relationship between negative social relationship and cyber delinquency was statistically significant. In addition, all negative relationships with parents, friends and teachers influenced cyber delinquency by manifested through aggression, and among them, it was confirmed that the negative relationship with friends had the greatest indirect effect on cyber delinquency through aggression. Third, the mediating effect of depression was not significant in the relationship between negative social relationship and cyber delinquency. The direct effect of negative social relations on cyber delinquency was also not significant. These results imply that the relationship between negative social relationship and cyber delinquency is mediated more through aggression rather than depression and that the negative relationship with peers is an important factor in cyber delinquency. Based on these results, we have proposed plans to prevent cyber delinquency in adolescence.
