본 연구는 우리나라 청소년들의 국어교과 상황적 흥미 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 중학생 477명 고등학생 482명 총 959명이고, 남학생은 334명, 여학생은 625명이 다. 청소년용 국어교과 상황적 흥미 척도를 개발하기 위해 선행연구들을 검토하였으며, 이를 바탕 으로 상황적 흥미의 하위요인을 인지적 호기심, 정서적 몰입, 성취 가치로 설정하고 24문항을 개발 하였다. 이후 요인분석을 통해 인지적 호기심, 정서적 몰입, 성취 가치의 세 요인으로 구성된 22문 항을 최종문항으로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 국어교과 상황적 흥미 척도의 준거타당도를 살펴보기 위해 학업적 자기효능감 척도, 성취목표지향성 척도와의 관련성을 살펴본 결과 학업적 자기 효능감, 숙달접근 목표지향성과의 상관이 높게 나타났다. 교차타당도 검증에서도 중학생과 고등학생 집단 간 동질성이 확보되었다. 청소년용 국어교과 상황적 흥미 척도의 신뢰도(Cronbach α)를 살펴본 결과 .875~.966으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 우리나라 청소년들의 국어교과에 대한 상황적 흥미를 살펴보고 국어교과에 대한 상황적 흥미를 높이는 데 기여할 것으로 본다.
This study aims to develop and validate the Korean situational interest scale for adolescents. The subjects of the study are 959 adolescents that include 477 middle school and 482 high school students. To develop and validate the Korean situational interest scale, researchers examined previous literature and selected three sub-factors for situational interest. After developing 24 preliminary items of situational interest in Korean, researchers made 22 items that comprise cognitive curiosity, emotional flow, and achievement value for Korean situational interest as the final scale using factor analysis. In the analysis of reference-related validity of the scale, the correlation of Korean's situational interest scale, achievement goal orientation, and academic efficacy were high among the variables. The cross-validation test confirmed the homogeneity of the scale between middle and high school students. In the reliability analysis, Cronbach α was .875~.966. This study is meaningful to develop situational interests of Korean, which was necessary for identifying and enhancing the adolescents' Korean situational academic interest.
