이 연구는 부모의 사이버 매체 이용 중재 수준이 청소년 사이버폭력에 미치는 영향을 피해, 가해, 중첩 경험을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. COVID-19로 인한 펜데믹 상황은 청소년의 일과에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 그 많은 변화 중 청소년의 사이버 매체를 이용하는 시간이 COVID-19의 확산 이후 급격히 증가하고 있는바, 청소년들은 사이버폭력의 피해, 가해 상황에 노출되고 있다. 이와 같은 상황으로 가정 내에서 인터넷 이용에 대한 부모의 중재 역할이 중요하게 여겨지며, 실제 부모의 사이버 매체에 대한 중재 수준에 따라 사이버폭력에의 영향이 있는지를 검증하기 위하여, 사이버폭력의 유형을 가해 경험과 피해 경험 그리고 중첩 경험으로 구분하여 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국형사정책연구원에서 실시한 ‘2015 청소년 사이버폭력 유형 분석 및 대응방안 연구’자료 중 초등, 중등, 고등학년까지의 청소년 모두를 연구대상으로 선정하였으며, 그중 부모의 중재 요인과 사이버폭력 가해 경험, 사이버폭력 피해 경험, 중첩 경험 경험을 분류하여 총 4,558개를 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 분석결과 부모의 사이버 매체 이용 중재 수준은 사이버폭력 가해 경험, 사이버폭력 피해 경험, 사이버폭력 중첩 경험 모두에 미치는 영향 관계가 유효한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 사이버폭력의 가해행위를 방지하고 사이버폭력 피해 상황을 예방하고자 하는 부모의 올바른 사이버 매체 중재에 대해 구체적 정책적 제안을 모색해보고자 한다.
The study aims to focus on the experience of avoiding, perpetrating, and overlapping the influence of parents' intervention in using cyber media on youth cyberbullying. The Pendemic situation caused by COVID-19 has brought about a lot of changes in adolescents' routines. Among the many changes, youth's time using cyber media has been increasing rapidly since the spread of COVID-19, and teenagers are exposed to cyberbullying damage and perpetration. In this situation, the role of parental mediation in Internet use in the home is important, and in order to verify whether there is an effect on cyberbullying according to the actual level of parental intervention on cybermedia, the type of cyberbullying was divided into experience. To this end, among the 2015 Study on the Type and Response of Youth Cyber Violence conducted by the Korea Institute of Criminal Policy, 4,558 of them were analyzed by classifying parents' intervention factors, cyberbullying experiences, cyberbullying experiences, and overlapping experiences. According to the analysis, parents' level of intervention in using cyber media has a valid impact on both cyberbullying experience, cyberbullying damage experience, and cyberbullying overlapping experience. Based on these findings, we would like to explore specific policy suggestions for parents' correct intervention of cyber media to prevent teenagers from committing cyberbullying and preventing cyberbullying damage.
