전국의 지방자치단체는 자체적인 지역 화폐를 발행하고 있으며 최근 코로나 19로 인한 지역상권의 활성화를 위하여 현금 충전보다 많은 할인과 적립으로 많은 사람들이 활발하게 사용하고 있다. 이와 함께 지역의 가까운 곳에서 물건을 사고파는 직거래 장터로 '당근마켓'이라는 앱이 많은 사용자를 확보하며 사업의 성공적인 안착으로 평가받고 있다. 본 연구는 지금까지의 넓은 범위로 거래가 형성되는 환경에서 그 시장을 압축하여 특정한 조직으로 예를 들면 대학교의 학생을 대상으로 장학 포인트의 활용과 현금 충전 마일리지, 회사의 재직자들을 위한 복지 포인트와 연계한 직원과 상점의 거래 등을 가정하여 그 곳에서 이루어질 수 있는 다양한 거래를 스마트폰을 활용하여 QR코드를 통해 편리하게 가능하도록 플랫폼을 개발하고 이 시스템을 시험으로 운영하여 실제 적용을 검토하고 블록체인 기반의 신뢰성 향상을 접목하여 향후 연구를 제안하였다.
