이 연구는 코로나19의 장기화로 인한 펜데믹 상황에서 지역 내 생활문화를 매개로 한 공동체들의 실태를 파악해 위협받고 있는 지역문화 현장에 대한 심층적 자료를 제공하고, 정책적 대안을 모색해보는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 전국적으로 공동체 활동이 활발히 진행 중인 전북 완주군을 사례로 생활문화공동체들에 대한 심층면접을 수행하였다. 생활문화공동체들은 방역수칙으로 인해 지역기반 활동이 단절되면서 경제적, 심리적 악재에 처해 있으며, 공간축소, 비대면 활동 병행, 장르변경, 역량강화 등 대응과 변화를 거듭하며 공동체를 유지해나가고 있음을 확인하였다. 지역문화발전 기반으로 생활문화공동체의 존립과 활동이 중요함을 강조하며, 이를 위해 비전문예술영역에 대한 제도적 보완과 위기상황에 맞춘 매뉴얼 구축, 지역 내 공동체성 강화를 위한 사업의 필요성을 제언하였다.
The purpose of this study is to provide in depth data on the threatened local cultural sites and to explore policy alternatives by identifying the status of communities through the medium of living culture in the region in the Pandemic situation due to the prolonged COVID-19. For the research, researchers conducted in-depth interviews on living cultural communities in Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk province where community activities are actively underway nationwide. Through this study, we confirmed that living cultural communities are suffering from economic and psychological problems due to quarantine rules, and that they continue to maintain their communities by reducing space, adding untact activities, changing genres, and strengthening capabilities. This study emphasized the importance of the existence and activities of living cultural communities based on the development of local culture, and suggested the necessity of projects for institutional supplementation of non-professional art areas, building manuals tailored to crisis situations, and strengthening community in the region.
