본 연구는 포스코ICT 기업을 대상으로 VRIO 분석을 통해 많은 기업들이 위기를 겪은 코로나바이러스로 인한 경제 침체 상황에서 성공요인이 무엇인지 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 PosFrame, PosMaster, PoShield, A.WORKS와 같은 포스코ICT의 솔루션들과 상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 동반성장을 추구하며, 미래지향적인 관계를 구축하는 등 포스코ICT 특징을 중점으로 VRIO 분석을 시도 했다. 포스코ICT는 서로 다른 기술들이 융합되어 새로운 가치를 만들어 내는 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞이하여 산업현장의 모든 설비들을 Internet of Things (IoT) 센서로 연결해 모니터링하고 여기서 축적한 데이터를 빅데이터로 분석하여 끊임없이 변화하는 미래 환경을 예측한다. 이러한 전략들을 토대로 포스코ICT는 스마트팩토리와 사무자동화, 클라우드 등 포스코ICT의 언택트 관련 업종 설비 및 시스템 도입 구축을 시도 했다. 이러한 언택트 전략들은 포스코ICT가 경쟁우위를 이끄는데 큰 영향을 미치며, 경쟁기업과는 달리 지속적인 성장을 보여주는 모습에 기여한다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the success factors of POSCO ICT companies through VRIO analysis in the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus, in which many companies suffered. To this end, POSCO ICT solutions such as PosFrame, PosMaster, PoShield, and A.WORKS pursue shared growth based on mutual trust and attempted VRIO analysis focusing on the characteristics of POSCO ICT, such as establishing future-oriented relationships. In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, where different technologies are fused to create new value, POSCO ICT monitors all industrial sites’ facilities by connecting them with Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and analyzes the accumulated data as big data to predict the changing future environment. Based on these strategies, POSCO ICT attempted to introduce facilities and systems related to POSCO ICT’s untact business, such as smart factories, office automation, and cloud. These untact strategies greatly influence POSCO ICT's competitive advantage and contribute to the appearance of continuous growth, unlike their competitors.
