A Study on Lee Kun-chang’s Chusujajeon

이 논문은 李建昌의 「秋水子傳」에 주목하여 작품의 올바른 이해에 도달하고자 시도한 글이다. 그동안 이 작품 안에 인용된 李根洙의 秋水詩詩句 중 오해되어왔던 대목들을 바로잡고, 작품 중에 나오는 趙大夫가 趙成夏임을 실증하였다. 이를 통해 이건창의 대표작 중 하나라 할 작품의 의미를 바르게 이해하는 데 한 걸음 나아가는 계기를 마련하였다. 鄭萬朝가 증언하였듯이 이근수는 고종 시대의 명망 높았던 문학가로 인정받을 만한 인물이다. 이는 그가 교유한 인물들의 면면을 보아도 그러하다. 「추수자전」과 이근수는 앞으로 더욱 고구할 만한 여지가 많은 연구대상으로 본고의 논의가 그 단초를 여는 데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

This paper fully mentions Lee Kun-chang’s Chusujajeon, noting it entirely. I have corrected some of the misunderstandings in Lee Keun-soo’s poetry verses cited in this work, and I proved that Cho daebu in the literature is Cho Sung-ha. It is hoped that this will provide an opportunity to take a step forward in understanding the meaning of one of Lee Kun-chang's representative works. As Jeong Man-jo testified, Lee Keun-soo is a renowned literary figure of the reign of King Gojong. Chusujajeon and Lee Keun-soo are subjects of study with much room for further research in the future, and I hope that this discussion can contribute to opening the beginning.
