Chondrosarcoma of the nasal septum is a very rare malignant tumor in the head and neck region. To diagnose chondrosarcoma, it is challenging to obtain an exact initial impression justby simple physical examination. Therefore, imaging studies are useful in the initial assessmentof chondrosarcoma. Pathological confirmation is necessary for a definitive diagnosis ofchondrosarcoma. In the treatment of chondrosarcoma, complete surgical resection is most effective,but often difficult. We report a patient with chondrosarcoma misdiagnosed with nasalseptal deviation causing nasal obstruction. The patient underwent endoscopic surgical resectionvia an external rhinoplasty approach. The pathological diagnosis of the patient was chondrosarcomawith pathological Grade 1. The patient has been regularly followed up to datewithout recurrence.
