본 연구는 보훈대상자의 다양한 특성에 따른 삶의 질 차이를 파악하고 그 영향요인을 규명하고자 수행되었다. 연구 자료는 한국고용정보원의 2018년 고령화연구패널조사이며, 분석대상은 보훈급여금을 수급 받고 있는 보훈대상자 140명이다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 보훈대상자의 삶의 질은 주관적 건강상태, 만성질환보유개수, 우울증 여부 등 건강상태에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한, 규칙적 운동, 무료검진 수검 등 건강행위가 좋을수록 삶의 질이 높았다. 의료보장과 관련해서는 의료급여 수급권자보다 건강보험 가입자의 삶의 질이 높게 나타났으며, 민간보험 미가입자보다 가입자의 삶의 질이 더 높게 나타났다. 사회적 관계 중 친목모임과 여가활동에 참여하는 사람들의 삶의 질이 그렇지 않은 사람보다 높았다. 다중선형회귀 분석결과 주관적 건강상태, 만성질환보유개수, 우울증 여부, 규칙적 운동 여부, 무료검진 수검여부, 의료보장 유형, 친목모임 여부 등의 요인들이 보훈대상자의 삶의 질에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구에서는 건강상태와 건강행위의 개선, 사회경제적으로 취약한 계층에 대한 집중 관리 그리고 사회적 관계 강화 등이 보훈대상자의 삶의 질 향상에 중요한 요인으로 규명되었다. 본 연구는 보훈대상자의 다양한 특성들을 반영한 정책개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting quality of life in patriots and veterans based on their characteristics. Among the data of 2018 KLoSA carried out by Korea Employment Information Service, the data of 140 of patriots and veterans was used to statistical analysis, which has no missing values. we used SPSS Ver. 21.0 for the data analysis. The main results of the study are as follows: 1) T-test/ANOVA analysis showed that according to various characteristics of patriots and veterans, qualities of life of them were statistically different. As respondents are healthier, practise a national health screening, do exercise regularly, more social activities, it shows higher quality of life. Meanwhile, as respondents have inpatient service utilizations and are medical care beneficiary, it shows lower quality of life. 2) According to the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, subjective health status, the number of chronic diseases, depression, national health screening, type of medical security, social activity are influential factors to the quality of life in patriots and veterans. The study revealed that improvement of health status and health behavior, intensive management of the socioeconomically vulnerable people, and strengthening of social relations were identified as important factors in improving the quality of life of patriots and veterans. The significance of the study is to provide empirical basis for policy development reflecting various characteristics of patriots and veterans
