This study aims to analyze the modification process of Yoon Dongju’s poetry. In order to achieve the aim, I compare his draft and finished manuscript through Sajinpan Yoon Dongju Japil Sigojeonjip(=The Photoengraved autographic collection of Yoon Dongju’s Poetry, 1999) and then describe the changes of poetic dictions used in his poems. As a consequence, this study argued that he performed the standardization of poetic dictions which substituted his Hambuk(=Hamgyeongbuk-do Province of Korea) dialect words for the standard words, e.g. nangan→cheoma(eaves), siraji→siraegi(dried radish leaves), ets. It is also argued that he made revisions of his poetic dictions for the poetic rhythm and beauty under the influences of Jeong Jiyong(1902-1950)’s and Back Seok(1912-1996)’s poetry by the replacement and transformation, e.g. ganbam→jinanbam(last night), tteodeum→jaejildaem(noise), ets.
