본 논문은 다큐멘터리 영화 <피나 바우쉬의 댄싱 드림즈> 에 나타난 비언어적 요소를 추출하여, 그 요소가 어떻게 교육적 소통에 있어 교수학습법에 활용될 수 있는지 제언한 논문이다. 이 영화의 비언어적 요소인 몸짓과 표정, 손길, 음향(소리)을 중심으로 교수자가 어떻게 학습자에게 다가가며, 그 과정을 거쳐 학습목표(무용극 공연)에 도달할 수 있었는지를 중심으로 분석하였다. 또 영화 속 비언어적 요소를 교수학습법과 연관하여 그 의미를 각각 추출하였다. 이를 통해 대학 교육 및 의사소통 교육에서 언어적 요소도 중요하지만, 비언어적 요소를 활용한 교수학습법도 중요하다는 점을 강조하였다. 비언어적 요소를 활용한 교수학습법으로 ‘만남의 교수학습법, 공감의 교수학습법, 언어/비언어적 요소의 비율 교수학습법’ 등 3가지를 제언하였다. 나아가 대학 교육에 있어서도 교과목과 학습의 특징, 교수자의 유형, 학습자의 유형, 강의 횟수, 친밀도 등 여러 요소를 반영하고 산발적인 데이터를 모으면, 비언어적 요소에 따른 교수학습법을 유형화하거나 체계화, 이론화할 수 있을 것이다. 본고는 영화를 통해 비언어적 요소를 교수학습법의 한 방법이나 모형으로서 가능성을 제안하였다는 점에 의미가 있다.
This paper extracts nonverbal elements from the documentary film <Pina bausch’s Dancing Dreams> and suggests how they can be used in teaching and learning methods in educational communication. Focusing on the nonverbal elements of this film, such as gestures, facial expressions, touch, and sound (sound), this study analyzed how the instructor approached the learner and achieved the learning goal(dance performance) through the process. In addition, the meanings of the non-verbal elements in the movie were extracted by linking them with teaching and learning methods. Through this, it was emphasized that the linguistic element is also important in university education and communication education, but the teaching learning method using non-verbal elements is also important. As teaching and learning methods using non-verbal elements, three suggestions were made: ‘teaching-learning method of meeting, teaching-learning method of empathy, and teaching-learning method of ratio of language/nonverbal elements’. Furthermore, in university education, if various factors such as subject and learning characteristics, type of instructor, type of learner, number of lectures, and intimacy are reflected and sporadic data are collected, teaching and learning methods according to non-verbal factors can be categorized, systemized, and theorized. will be. This paper is meaningful in that it proposed the possibility of using non-verbal elements as a method or model of teaching and learning methods through films.
