This study derived airline selection attributes of users taking into consideration the current status ever since the COVID-19 outbreak and estimated determinants of demand toward air travel after taking into account travel involvement and demographic features. The Truncated Poisson Model and the Truncated Negative Binomial Model have been applied as the approach toward analyzing the determinants influencing demand toward air travel. As a result of estimating the models, income, out of demographic features, showed positive influence at 1 percent significance level while purpose of using airline under the category of usage features showed negative influence at 1 percent significance level. Travel involvement had positive influence at 1 percent significance level. Reservation and operation service, out of airline selection attributes, had negative influence at 1 percent significance level and fringe benefit diversity had positive influence at 5 percent significance level. The results of this study provided the determinants which are significantly important in improving demand toward air travel and they are important data for marketing strategies when it comes to constant progress of aviation industry.
