The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship among the factors that determine college selection, department satisfaction, major commitment, and recommendation intention. For empirical investigation, online questionnaires were distributed to the college students attending departments of airline service. A total of 163 surveys were used for the final data analysis via package program of SPSS 21.0. As the result of the analysis, first, the determinants of college selection were categorized into 3 categories: college dimension, departmental competitiveness, and meaningful recommendation factor. The departmental competitiveness and meaningful recommendation had a positive effect on department satisfaction and major commitment. However, college dimension did not. Second, college dimension and departmental competitiveness had a positively significant impact on recommendation intention. Third, department satisfaction had a significant effect on major commitment, and major commitment had a positive effect on recommendation intention. Based on the findings of this study, academic and practical implications were discussed.
