이 글은 황해도 진오기굿의 지향점을 살핀 글이다. 굿의 연행 상황과 무가의 내용을 바탕으로 하여 의미를 살핀 글이다. 황해도 진진오기굿은 가족의 죽음이 준 충격이 아직 가시지 않은 상태에서 연행되는 굿으로 모든 굿의 중심은 망자의 천도에 맞추어져 있다. <영실감흥거리>는 망자의 등장에 대한 굿거리이다. 망자가 사용하던 여러 물건들을 둘러내는 연행에도 이러한 인식이 보이지만 무가 자체에도 망자에 초점을 맞추고 있다. <수왕제석거리>에서 망자는 저승으로 떠나갈 준비를 수왕제석의 가르침으로 진행한다. <영실감흥거리>와 <수왕제석거리>는 망자가 중심이 되는 굿거리로, 아직 중심은 이승에 있다. 저승으로 떠나간다는 것은 제시되었지만 망자가 저승으로 떠난 것은 아니다. <사자거리>는 망자가 이승에서 저승으로 떠나가게 된 것을 명확하게 알려주는 거리이다. 저승의 사자가 들어와 이승과 저승이 연결되었고 그 결과 망자는 저승으로 갈 수 있게 되었다. <대내림>과 <맑은혼모심>은 망자가 저승으로 떠나기 전 가족과 작별을 하는 과정이다. <길가르기>는 망자가 저승으로 떠나감을 보여주는 과정이다. 저승으로 떠나는 일련의 과정을 시각적으로 보여주어 망자가 온전하게 저승으로 떠나갔음을 보여준다. <마당거리>는 굿의 마무리 부분이다. 하지만 진진오기굿은 다른 굿과 달리 여러 잡신을 불러 모시는 것이 아니라 조상들이 망자가 가는 길을 따라 저승으로 가라는 의미를 다시 반복한다. 이러한 흐름을 통해서 볼 때 황해도 진진오기굿은 철저하게 망자에 초점을 맞추는 굿이다. 그래서 망자가 중요한 역할을 하여 스스로 저승으로 나간다. 이런 점에 서울굿에 있는 <바리공주>무가가 없는 연유가 된다. 그만큼 서울굿보다 황해도굿이 불교 세계관의 영향을 덜 받은 것으로 보인다.

This article has examined the implications and aims of Hwanghae-do Jinjinogi-gut based on muga, or shaman songs along with the present status of practicing gut. Hwanghae-do Jinjinogi-gut is practiced while the bereaved family is yet to get over the grief of the death of their member, which places its highest priority on leading the deceased to the heaven. <Youngsilgamheunggeori> is a gutgeori dedicated to the appearance of the deceased. This perception is seen in demonstrating several objects that were used by the deceased while he or she was alive, and the muga itself also focuses on the deceased as well. <Suwangjeseokgeori> prepares for the deceased to go to the heaven with the teachings of Suwangjeseok. Both gutgeoris of < Youngsilgamheunggeori> and <Suwangjeseokgeori> are dedicated to the deceased while the center is still in this life. Departure for the heaven is suggested but that does not mean that the deceased leaves for the heaven. <Sajageori> is a shaman tune that that clearly shows the deceased's departure from this life to the heaven. The angel of death comes down and connects this world to the heaven, enabling the deceased to go to the heaven. <Daenaerim> and <Serving Clean Spirit> portrays the process of the deceased saying goodbye to the bereaved family before leaving for the heaven. <Dividing Road> demonstrates the deceased leaving for the heaven and confirms that the deceased has properly left to the heaven by delivering visual representation of a series of processes of leaving for the heaven. <Madanggeori> is the final part of the gut. Unlike other guts, Jinjinogi-gut repeats the meaning of ushering ancestors to follow the path of the deceased to the heaven instead of inviting various evil spirits. This is how Hwanghae-do Jinjinogi-gut focuses strictly on the deceased and that is why the deceased play an important role of leaving for the heaven by themselves. In this regard, it serves as a feast without <Bari Princess> available in Seoul gut, indicating that Hwanghae-do gut has been less influenced by the Buddhist worldview than Seoul gut.
