조선시대 문인들의 交遊는 文學, 그 가운데 대체로 漢詩를 통해이루어졌으며 벗과 함께 술이나 유람을 즐기거나 혹은 어떠한 일로헤어짐을 맞이할 때마다 作詩를 통한 교감이 빈번하였다. 이러한 文 人들의 교감활동 중 하나가 詩會였고 활용된 漢詩의 詩體 중 하나가바로 聯句詩이다. 少論의 명문 가문 출신인 損窩 崔錫恒(1654~1724)은 우의정과 좌의정을 역임했으며 少論四大臣으로 언급될 정도로 정치적 비중이있는 인물이다. 損窩는 1680년 27세의 나이로 과거에 급제하여 관직에 올라 71세의 나이로 세상을 떠날 때까지 왕성하게 활동한 관료문인이었다. 그는 관직 생활을 해나가며 少論의 여러 명사들과 交遊 하였는데, 그 중심에는 詩會가 있었다. 그의 문집 곳곳에 남은 작품들을 통해 그의 교유가 詩會를 중심으로 하였고, 詩會에서 창작된 작품 가운데 하나가 聯句詩라는 사실을 유추할 수 있다. 이 글은 損窩의 문집에서 확인되는 詩會의 흔적과 그 결과물 가운데 하나의 모습이라고 할 수 있는 聯句詩에 대해 살폈다. 이 연구는損窩의 詩會와 聯句詩의 관계, 그리고 聯句詩의 양상을 살피는 데에서 끝나지 않고 損窩에게 聯句詩가 지니는 의의를 확인하여 그의 聯 句詩를 다각도로 살펴보고자 하였다.
Exchanges between the literati of the Joseon Dynasty were carried out through the exchange of literary arts, particularly Chinese poetry. When drinking and playing with acquaintances or when departing, poetry was frequently used as a means of communion. Poetry clubs also acted to facilitate communion and one of the poems of Chinese poetry that was utilized was Successive Lines of Verse (聯句詩). Choi Seok-hang (崔錫恒, 1654-1724), from a famous Soron family, was a personage of great political weight to the extent that he is referred to as one of ‘the four ministers of Soron’. He was a bureaucratic literary personage who was active from when he passed the Imperial Examination at the age of 27, in 1680, until he passed away at the age of 71. While working in government, he interacted with several celebrities in the Soron faction, at the center of which were poetry clubs. Through the works that remain here and there in his collection, it is possible to infer that his exchanges centered on poetry clubs, one of the works created by poetry clubs being Successive Lines of Verse (聯句詩). This research does not merely end with an examination of the poetry clubs of Sonwa (損窩) and their relation to Successive Lines of Verse, and the aspects of Successive Lines of Verse. It also looks at at Sonwa (損窩)’s Successive Lines of Verse (聯句詩) from multiple angles, as a means of confirming the meaning of the Successive Couplet (聯 句詩).
