การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการใช้ภาษาและคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ตามหลักสูตรการศึกษาปฐมวัย โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยเอกสาร จากหนังสือสำหรับเด็กเล็ก อายุ 3 – 5 ปี ที่ได้รับรางวัลดีเด่นจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2553 – พ.ศ. 2563 จำนวน 11 เรื่อง และเสนอผลการศึกษาค้นคว้าแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ด้านลักษณะการใช้ภาษา มีการใช้คำและประโยคซ้ำ ๆ เพื่อช่วยในการเรียนรู้ เลือกใช้คำที่เด็กคุ้นเคย สั้นกระชับใจความ รวมถึงการใช้ภาษาพูดที่เป็นธรรมชาติ ใช้ประโยคสั้น ๆ ถูกต้องตามหลักไวยากรณ์ มีการใช้คำภาษาต่างประเทศปะปน และมีการใช้โวหารภาพพจน์แบบบุคลาธิษฐานในการสื่อความส่งผลต่อการสร้างจินตนาการของเด็กได้เป็นอย่างดี ส่วนด้านคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของเด็ก พบว่า คุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ที่พบมากที่สุดคือ พัฒนาการด้านสติปัญญา โดยเฉพาะในมาตรฐานที่ 10 มีความสามารถในการคิดที่เป็นพื้นฐานในการเรียนรู้และมาตรฐานที่ 11 มีจินตนาการและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ รองลงมาคือ พัฒนาการด้านอารมณ์ จิตใจ ในมาตรฐานที่ 5 มีคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และมีจิตใจที่ดีงาม และพัฒนาการด้านสังคม ในมาตรฐานที่ 7 รักธรรมชาติ สิ่งแวดล้อม วัฒนธรรม และความเป็นไทย ตามลำดับ
The objectives of this present study were to examine language use and desirable characteristics as indicated in Early Childhood Curriculum B.E. 2560. The document analysis approach was used to analyze 11 outstanding children’s books for 3 to 5 years olds awarded by the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Ministry of Education in B.E. 2553 – 2563 (A.D. 2010 – 2020); and the descriptive analysis was employed to illustrate the gather data. The findings revealed that, in terms of the language use, the repetitions of words and sentences were used to encourage children’s learning process in aspects of speaking and writing skills in order to encourage children’s language process. Familiar, short, and concise lexemes; along with, grammatically short sentences of spoken language were chosen to enlarge their acquisition. Moreover, foreign vocabulary and personification were selected to ignite children’s imagination. It was found that the most desirable characteristics for children was the cognitive development; especially in Standard 10: children develop thinking skills for basic learning; and Standard 11: imagination and creative thinking is demonstrated. The next desirable characteristics were the emotional development, Standard 5: morality and good emotions are expressed; and the social development, Standard 7: nature, environment, and culture are appreciated, and pride is taken in being Thai respectively.
