본 연구는 간호대학 3, 4학년생의 인간중심 돌봄, 환자안전역량 및 환자안전관리 수행자신감의 관계를 살펴보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대전광역시 소재 D대학교 3, 4학년 143명을 대상으로, 2020년 10월 15일부터 2020년 11월 30일까지 진행하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, 다중 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 인간중심 돌봄은 환자안전관리 역량(r=.519, p<.01)과 양의 상관관계를 환자안전관리 수행자신감은 인간중심 돌봄(r=.493, p<.01) 및 환자안전관리 역량(r=.637, p<.01)과 양의 상관관계를 나타내었으며, 변수에 대한 설명력은 43.4%였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 인간중심 돌봄 실천과 관련된 교과 및 비교과 교육과정의 운영 및 임상실습 전 환자안전역량 증진을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하며, 지속적이고 체계적인 운영 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.


This study analyzed the relationship between person-centered care, patient safety competency, and confidence in patient safety management among third- and fourth-year university nursing students who had clinical training experience. To this end, a descriptive survey was used to conduct research, based on responses of 143 third- and fourth-year nursing students at M university located in Mungyeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, from Oct. 15 to Nov. 30, 2020. For data analysis, SPSS 22.0 was used to calculate mean values, and standard deviation, with Pearson’s correlation coefficient, a t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis also performed. The research result indicated that person-centered care had a positive correlation with patient safety competency (r=.519, p<.01) and, further, that confidence in patient safety management had positive correlations with both person-centered care (r=.493, p<.01) and patient safety competency (r=.637, p<.01). Explanatory power, represented by R-squared (R2), of variables was calculated to be 43.4%. Based on the findings of this study, it is suggested that further research be conducted to develop education programs for operating both curriculum and non-curriculum courses related to person-centered care for nursing students, and to enhance their patient safety competency before clinical training. In addition, measures should be developed to manage these education programs consistently and systematically.
