디지털 포용이라는 환경적 변화에 전략적으로 대응하지 못하면 디지털화가 사회적 불평등과 갈등을 키우는 요인이 될 수도 있다는 지적이 있다. 이런 주장에 공감하면서, 이 연구에서는 미디어 이용과 관련하여 연령대에 따른 이용 형태를 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 공공기관 중 한국보훈복지의료공단은 보훈복지의료 전문기관으로서의 역할을 다하기 위해 의료와 복지 기반을 확충하고 운영체계를 강화하는 등 그동안 능동적인 운영 노력을 전개해 왔다. 이런 상황에 대한 대응 필요성은 공공기관 중에서도 고령의 보훈대상자 비중이 절대적으로 큰 공단에게는 더욱 중요한 점이라고 본다. 이에 대해 한국보훈복지의료공단의 대표 브랜드인 Bohun-THIS 등에 디지털 포용 세상으로 나갈 수 있는 방안을 적극적으로 도입하여 시행해 나가야 할 것 등 시사점을 중심으로 살펴보았다.
This study considered digital inclusive growth, which recently has gained attention as the 4th industrial revolution. For this reason, this study empirically examined the types of media use by age groups, and analyzed the implications for public institutions, especially for the korea veterans health service. Korea veterans health service(KVHS) is an organization in charge of treatment, rehabilitation and welfare of patriots and veterans who have sacrificed and dedicated themselves to the nation. KVHS provides medical & welfare services for the healthy and happy life of patriots and veterans. As a leading public healthcare & welfare organization in innovation, KVHS aims to become a more trusted institution through continuous effort in communicating with the people. This study focused on the implications of active digital inclusive policy.
