이 연구는 대학생들의 글쓰기에 대한 인식을 분석하고 글쓰기 교육의 개선 방안을 찾고자 J대학 학생들을 대상으로 글쓰기 학습 내용, 글쓰기 자기 능력평가, 글쓰기 능력에 대한 인식, 글쓰기 교육 방향에대한 인식 등을 설문하여 조사·분석하였다. 이를 통해 글쓰기 교육의 운영 개선 방안에 대해 논의하였다. 대학생들의 인식을 조사·분석한 결과 대학생들은글쓰기 능력을 중요하게 인식하고 있으며, 이론 수업보다는 실제 글을 써보고 피드백을 받는 실제적인글쓰기 수업을 원하였다. 또한 글의 내용을 구성하고전개해가는 부분에 대한 능력을 키우고 싶은 것으로나타났다. 글쓰기 교육이 대학생들에게 실질적인 역량이 될 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 이론 강의도 중요하지만 실질적으로 글을 써볼 수 있는 충분한 시간과 기회를 부여해야 하며, 전공 맞춤형 실무글쓰기의개발이 필요하다. 또한 다양한 수업 방식을 통해 학생들이 참여할 수 있는 글쓰기 수업이 되도록 해야하며, 대학 졸업 인증 요건 등의 방법을 통해 졸업후 사회에 진출해서도 글쓰기 능력이 실무역량으로이어질 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이 연구는 글쓰기와 관련한 대학생들의 인식을 통해 대학 글쓰기 교육의 방향을 모색해 볼 수 있다는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.
This study investigated and analyzed the contents of writng learning, self-evaluation of writng abilty, recogniton of writng abilty, and recogniton of writng education direction to J university students in order to analyze the perception of writng of university students and find ways to improve writng education. Through this, the improvement plan of writng education was discused. As a result of researching and analyzing the perceptions of university students, colege students perceived writng abilty as important, and they wanted practical writng clases that received fedback and wrote actual writng rather than theoretical clases. In aditon, it was found that they wanted to develop their abilty to construct and develop the contents of the article. In order to make writng education a practical competency for colege students, theoretical lectures are important, but it is necesary to give enough time and oportunity to write in practice, and to develop customized practical writng. Also, it is necesary to make writng clas that students can participate through various teaching methods, and to make writng abilty lead to practical competence even after graduation through the method of university graduation certification requirements. This study is meaningful in that it can sek the direction of university writng education through the recogniton of colege students related to writng.
