複合動詞「V+つける」は、基本用法を起点として、相互に共通項を維持しつつ別義と判断される意味を獲得し、周辺用法へと意味拡張した1つの有機的な体系として捉えることができる。 そこで、本稿では「V+つける」の90語を対象として、各用法および実例数の構成比を示し、意味拡張の程度との関係の有無について考察した。 その結果、もっとも構成比の高い用法は基本用法である「①状態維持(31.4％)」であったが、その一方で、拡張の進んだ周辺用法である「⑨強圧(13.3％)」、「脅威(12.4％)」などが上位に位置することから、意味拡張の程度と用法の構成比は比例関係にないことがわかった。また、実例数の構成比においても「①状態維持」が24.2％を占め最も多く使用されているが、その他の用法においては意味拡張の程度だけでなく、用法の構成比とも比例していなかった。くわえて、延べ語数105語のうち1番実例数の多い語は「V+つける」の体系において、最も周辺的な用法「脅威」に該当する「にらみ付ける」であり、また上位5語だけで全体の33.7％を占めていることを明らかにした。
In this study, I presented the composition ratio of the usage and composition ratio of the number of examples for 90 words of “V+つける(thukeru)” and considered whether there was a relationship with their degree of semantic expansion. Results show that the usage with the highest composition ratio was the basic usage “①状態維持(jyotai iji)(31.4%)”. On the other hand, since “⑨強圧(kyoathu)(13.3%)” and “⑩脅威(kyoi)(12.4%)” with peripheral usage are ranked high, the degree of semantic expansion and the composition ratio of usage are not proportional. In terms of the composition ratio of the number of examples, “①状態維持(jyotai iji)” accounted for 24.2% and was the most frequently used, but in other usages, the number of examples was not proportional to the composition ratio of usage or the degree of meaning expansion. In addition, the word with the most examples was “にらみ付ける(niramithukeru),” which corresponds to the most peripheral usage, “⑩脅威(kyoi),” in the “V+つける(thukeru)” system. Results also show that the top five words alone account for 33.7% of the total.
복합동사 'V+つける'는 모두 본동사 'つける'의 영향을 받고 있으며, 영향을 가장 강하게 받고 있는 기본용법(基本用法)에서 점차 영향력이 희박해지는 주변용법으로 의미확장(意味拡張)을 하는 하나의 유기적(有機的)인 체계로 간주될 수 있다. 본고는 'V+つける'의 90어를 대상으로 하여, 각 용법 및 실제 용례수(実例数)의 구성비를 제시하고 의미확장과의 관계성 유무에 대해 고찰하였다. 그 결과 가장 구성비가 높은 용법은 기본용법인 ‘①상태유지(状態維持)(31.4%)’였으나, 그 한편으로 가장 주변적인 용법의 ‘⑨강압(強圧)(13.3%)’, ‘위협(脅威)(12.4%)’ 등이 상위에 위치하고 있다는 점에서 의미확장의 정도와 용법의 구성비에는 비례관계가 성립하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 실제 용례수의 구성비에서도 ‘①상태유지(状態維持)’가 24.2%를 차지해 가장 많이 사용되어지고 있지만, 그 외의 용법에서는 의미확장의 정도뿐만이 아니라 용법의 구성비와도 비례관계가 성립하지 않았다. 더불어 ‘V+つける’의 체계에 있어서 연어수(述べ語数) 105어 중에서 제일 실제 용례수가 많은 단어는 가장 주변적인 용법의 ‘위협(脅威)’에 해당하는 ‘にらみ付ける’이며, 또한 상위 5어만으로 전체의 33.7%를 차지하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
