본 연구는 예비 교사의 창의교육 역량 함양을 목표로 운영된 문법 수업의 한 사례를 통해 대학에서의 창의교육의 실효성과 방향을 탐색하고, 이를 위한 교과목 개발과 운영에 유의미한 정보를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. C대학교의 문법 영역 교과목인 〈국어생활과 규범〉은 기존의 강의 위주의 수업을 프로젝트 기반 학습(Project-based Learning. PBL)을 적용한 학생 활동 중심 수업으로 재구성한 것으로, 수업 전반부에는 이론적 학습을, 후반부에는 그 교육적 적용을 위한 단계적 PBL 활동을 수행하도록 설계함으로써 교과내용학과 교과교육학의 연계 또는 융합을 시도하였다. 수업 실행 후 성과 분석을 통한 학생들의 수업 만족도와 창의교육 인식도는 상당히 긍정적이었다. 학생들은 이 수업을 통해 창의적 사고 증진을 위한 교사의 역할을 이해하고, 창의교육에 대한 학습의 필요성과 중요성에 공감하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 교원양성기관에서 운영된 창의교육 역량 함양을 목표로 한 구체적인 수업 사례로서, 앞으로 구현되어야 할 창의교육 관련 수업의 방향 설정에 하나의 근거를 마련했다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
The aim of this study was to explore the effectiveness and direction of creativity education through a case of grammar class of one university which was planned to develop pre-service teachers’ creative education competency and to propose meaningful information for the development and management of lectures. <The Korean Language Life and Linguistic Norms> in C University was reorganized a learner activity-centered class using a Project-based Learning(PBL) from a instructor-led class. The process of this class is as follows. First, pre-service teachers studied theoretical contents in the first half of a class. Second, they sequentially carried out various production activities of educational contents based on researches of real life and analysis of Korean textbook in the second half of a class. The significance of this process is that pre-serive teachers not only learned content knowledge as a content subject, but also tried to connect or blend between the content subject and pedagogical subject. pre-service teachers’ class satisfaction and degree of recognition of creative education through the performance analysis was significantly positive. Pre-service teachers understood teachers’ role for the improvement of creative thinking and had a chance to consider a method of creative education through this class. Moreover, they empathized with the necessity and importance of creative education. This study is significant to propose a direction of creative education classes for pre-service Korean teachers as a specific case study which was implemented to achieve a cultivation of competency of creative education in a teacher education institute.
