이 논문은 科試 자료의 外延을 확장하기 위한 목적으로, 지금까지 과시 자료로 충분히 주목받지 못했다고 생각되는 『承政院日記』 소재 과시 관련 자료들을 검토한 것이다. 『승정원일기』에는 기존의 다른 과시 관련 기록에서 확인하기 어려운 다양한 기록들이 산재해 있다. 儒生 應製의 경우 시험 시행 사실과 더불어 합격자 명단과 시상 내역이 거의 누락 없이 기록되어 있으며, 課製의 경우에도 해당 과제의 배경과 더불어 관련 내용들이 자세히 기록되었다. 肅宗代의 경우 讀書堂 課製 관련 기록이 상세한 것도 특기할 만하다. 親臨試의 경우에도 임금의 행적을 중심으로 시험 절차가 매우 상세하게 묘사되어 있다. 『승정원일기』 소재 과시 자료를 활용하기 위해서는 우선 과시 관련 내용에 대한 검토 및 자료의 集積이 이루어져야 하고, 이후 이에 대한 색인어 추출 등의 적절한 가공 과정을 거쳐야 한다. 마지막으로 여타의 과시 관련 자료와의 상호 참조를 통해 자료의 부족한 부분을 보완함으로써 『승정원일기』 소재 과시 자료를 과시 연구에 좀더 효율적으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다. 향후 원활한 과시 연구를 위해서는 『승정원일기』를 필두로 다양한 編年體 역사 기록 소재 과시 자료에 대한 세밀한 조사와 자료의 집적 및 분류 작업 등이 조속히 추진되어야 한다.
In order to expand the external appearance of the gwageo data, this paper reviewed the gwageo-related materials contained in Seungjeongwon ilgi, which so far is thought to have not been sufficiently noticed as a gwageo material. Seungjeongwon ilgi has a variety of records that are difficult to identify in existing gwageo-related records. In the case of yusaengeungje(儒生應製), the list of successful candidates and awards were recorded with little omission, and in the case of gwaje(課製), the background and related details were recorded. In the case of the King Sookjong(肅宗), it is also worth noting that the records related to the Dokseodang are detailed. In the case of Chillimsi(親臨試), the test procedure is described in great detail, focusing on the king's record. In order to utilize the gwageo data on Seungjeongwon ilgi, the gwageo-related content must first be reviewed and the data aggregated. It shall be subjected to proper processing, such as extraction of indexers. Finally, cross-references with other gwageo-related materials will complement the deficiencies of the data, making the gwageo data recorded in the Seungjeongwon ilgi more efficient use of the gwageo research. In order to vitalize future gwageo research, detailed investigation of various gwageo data, including Seungjeongwon ilgi, and aggregation and classification of data should be carried out as soon as possible.
