본 연구는 중등학생용 일반적 학업흥미 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 우리나라 중학생 477명과 고등학생 482명으로 전체 959명이다. 일반적 학업흥미 척도를 개발하기 위해 개념 고찰과 선행연구를 검토했으며, 선행연구를 바탕으로 일반적 학업흥미의 하위요인을 인지적 흥미, 정서적 흥미, 가치적 흥미의 세 요인을 선정하였다. 이후 교사를 포함한 전문가 집단의 검토를 통해 요인별로 8문항씩 24문항을 개발했다. 개발된 예비문항을 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하여 인지적 흥미 5문항, 정서적 흥미 7문항, 가치적 흥미 8문항의 20문항으로 구성된 일반적 학업흥미 척도를 개발하였다. 일반적 학업흥미 척도의 요인 간 상관은 높은 것으로 나타났고 확인적 요인분석 결과 문항들은 해당 요인을 잘 반영하는 것으로 나타났다. 일반적 학업흥미 척도의 준거타당도를 살펴보기 위해서 성취목표지향성, 학업적 자기효능감, 학업성취도와의 상관을 살펴본 결과 일반적 학업흥미 척도는 학업관련 변인들과의 관계가 높게 나타났다. 교차타당도 검증에서도 중학생과 고등학생 집단 간 동질성이 확보되었으며, 신뢰도는 양호한 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구결과 우리나라 중등학생용 일반적 학업흥미 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도가 입증되었기 때문에 앞으로 중등학생들의 학업흥미 연구가 활발하게 연구될 것으로 본다.
The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a general academic interest scale for secondary school students. The subjects of this study were 477 middle and 482 high school students. In order to develop a general academic interest scale literature reviews were made. According to the literature reviews general academic interest was divided into three factors: cognitive interest, emotional interest, and valuable interest. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted with 24 preliminary items and revealed a general academic interest scale consisting of 20 items including; 5 cognitive interests, 7 emotional interests, and 8 valuable interest items. With the reference related validity of general academic interest scale achievement goal orientation, academic self-efficacy, and academic achievement were revealed to have higher relation. In a cross-validation test of middle and high school students the two groups were found to have homogeneity in the analysis of configure, metric, and scalar tests. This study has developed and validated a general academic interest scale for middle and high school students. Due to this study, academic interest will be studied more deeply.
