본 논문은 일본인 유학생과 재일한국인 유학생에 대한 한국인의 태도를 최은영의 「쇼코의 미소」와 이양지의 「유희」를 통해 찾아보고 비교해 보고자 한다. 왜냐하면 그 태도의 차이는 재일한국인의 모습과 마음을 이해하는 데에 있어서 중요한 요소가 되기 때문이다. 본고는 「쇼코의 미소」와 「유희」를 비교하는 논문은 아니다.「쇼코의 미소」를 통해서 작품「유희」속의 유희, 그리고 언니를 좀 더 이해하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 「유희」에서는 400페이지가 넘는 이유도 알 수 없고, 그 의미도 알 수 없는 문자로 된 문장을 남기고 한국을 떠나버린 유희를 생각하면서, 언니인 나는 죄의식 같은 것을 느낀다. 그러나, 「쇼코의 미소」속의 소유는 쇼코에 대한 이해할 수 없음을 일본인을 이해할 수 없음으로 받아들여 외국인으로서의 차이를 인정한다. 외국인으로서의 일본인과 재일한국인이라고 하는 것에 대한 우리의 태도의 차이가 본 논문의 문제해결의 핵심은 아니지만, 「쇼코의 미소」와 「유희」를 통해 본고의 논지인 언어와 소통을 이야기하는 하나의 요소가 될 것이다.
The attitude of Korean torward foreign student from Japan and Korean-Japanese student in 「Shoko’s smile」 and 「Yu-Hee」 is found out and compared in this paper. The difference of attitude shows discrimination for Korean-Japanese student. This paper is not a paper comparing 「Shoko’s smile」and「Yu-Hee」. Yu-Hee and her sister is understood more through 「Shoko’s smile」. Her sister feels a sense of guilt while she thinks Yu-Hee who left the incomprehensible texts amount of 400 pages and went away from Kerea. In 「Shoko’s smile」 that So-You cannot understand Japanese. She accepts it as the difference of Foreign. Through the difference of the attitude toward Japanese and Korean-Japanese is not the solving core, it can be one factor for understanding this paper.
