Ura, which is described as a ghost of Baekje in Japan, is actually from Gaya. There is some evidence suggesting Ura was from Gaya. Araume, the wife of Ura, is described as a native of Ara Gaya, raising the possibility that Ura is also from Gaya. It also describes Ura's ability as a guardian deity of Gaya and as having affinity with ironware culture. Legend has it that Ura has the power to burn mountains, pierce rocks, and the ability to collect iron from valleys. However, it was considered as an evil ghost from a foreign country in Japan. By the Edo period, the Japanese regarded the ghost as a symbol of evil, naming it "Ura" from Baekje.
