이 논문의 목적은 지식의 특성을 통해 교육적 의미를 살피는 것이다. 이에 대하여, 먼저 지식의 범주를 관념론적, 객관주의적, 통합적 관점으로 살펴보았다. 그런 다음 지식의 특성을 다음과 같이 네 가지 차원에서 제시하였다. 1) 지식의 목적과 범위와 관련하여(완전성, 전체성), 2) 지식의 주체 및 객체와 관련하여(인격성, 객관성), 3) 지식의 유형 및 방법과 관련하여(암묵성, 명제성), 4) 지식의 형성과정과 관련하여(과정성, 통합성). 이를 토대로 하여 각각의 교육적 의미를 4가지 측면에서 고찰하였다. 첫째, 교육목적과 범위(완전성과 교육목적, 전체성과 교육적 범위), 둘째, 교육의 주체와 객체(인격성과 교육적 주체, 객관성과 교육적 객체), 셋째, 교육방법(암묵성과 교육방법, 명제성과 교육방법), 넷째, 교수-학습(과정성과 교수-학습, 통합성과 교수-학습). 이와 같은 여덟 가지 지식의 특성은 흥미로운 구조로 이루어져 있다. 즉 완전성(A), 인격성(B), 암묵성(C), 과정성(D), 통합성(D'), 명제성(C'), 객관성(B'), 전체성(A')이 교차 대구법 구조를 이룬다. 이것을 기호로 정리하면 다음과 같다. A-B-C-D-D'-C'-B'-A'. 결론적으로 지식의 특성이 나타내는 구조와 그 의미를 살펴보았다. 지식의 다양한 특성들은 '과정'과 '통합'을 중심으로 두 가지 지향점을 갖는다. 하나는 현실적 지향점으로서 '지혜'이며, 다른 하나는 궁극적 지향점으로서의 '우주적 지혜'다.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the educational meaning through the characteristics of knowledge. In this regard, first, the category of knowledge was examined from an ideological, objective, and integrated perspective. Then, the characteristics of knowledge were presented in four dimensions as follows. 1) with respect to the purpose and scope of knowledge(completeness, totality), 2) with respect to subjects and objects of knowledge(personality, objectivity), 3) with respect to types and methods of knowledge(implicit characteristics, propositions), 4) Regarding the process of formation of knowledge(processability, integrity). Based on this, the educational meaning of each was examined in four aspects. First, educational purpose and scope(completeness and educational purpose, totality and educational scope), second, subject and object of education(personality and educational subject, objectivity and educational object), third, educational method(implicit educational method, explicit educational method), fourth, teaching-learning(process outcomes teaching-learning, integration outcomes teaching- learning). These eight characteristics of knowledge have an interesting structure. In other words, completeness(A), personality(B), tacitness(C), processability(D), integrity(D'), proposition(C'), objectivity(B'), totality(A'), These form a kiastic structure. This is summarized as a symbol as follows. A-B-C-D-D'-C'-B'-A'. In conclusion, the structure and meaning of the characteristics of knowledge were examined. The various characteristics of knowledge have two orientations centered on 'process' and 'integration'. One is 'wisdom' as the actual point of direction, and the other is 'universal wisdom' as the ultimate point of direction.
