Various Korean education for foreigners are conducted by language school under college, multi-culture family support center, ‘Korea Immigration & integration program’ institution under ministry of justice, welfare center or foreigners' support group. Among them Ministry of Justice's ‘Korea Immigration & integration program’ has received attention. Government's multi-cultural policies that have been criticized due to redundant support from similar polices of each department. Korean education is now in trend of combined as KIIP(Korea Immigration & integration program). KIIP is composed of "Korean language and Korean culture curriculum" and "Understanding Korean society curriculum". When one completes both curriculum, it provides incentive when one obtains nationality, residence permit or changing visa. In the past, one could participate in social integration program only through advance evaluation, but recently, as it is connected to Korean program and TOPIK program from multi-culture family support center, the proportion of not only the married immigrant but also the immigrated children from multi-cultural family, foreign students and foreign workers is increasing. However, despite the fact that the program has been operating for 9 years, there are no significant changes in the policy. For KIIP to play its role as representative Korean education by the government, there are many problems to be improved such as curriculum, time and evaluation system. This paper suggested expansion of education time, review on retaking system, review on evaluation system and connected programs after completion to make social integration program Korean language education to actualize its essential goal based on the current problem of Korea Immigration & integration program.
