본 연구는 전공연계글쓰기(WAC)의 일환인 학습연계글쓰기(WTL)를 교양 과목에 적용하고 그 결과를 확인해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. WAC와 WTL 둘 다 모든 글쓰기가 근본적으로 사고를 위한도구이며 능동적인 학습 양식이라는 점에 근거하고 있지만 WAC의 글쓰기와 달리 WTL은 완결된글 작성을 목표로 두지 않는다. WTL은 교과 내용에 대한 학생들의 사고를 활성화하여 심도 있고효과적인 학습으로 이어지도록 하기 위한 도구로서의 글쓰기이다. 도구이므로 정형화되어 있지 않고학습 효과를 얻을 수 있는 다양한 방식을 강좌에 맞게 개발할 수 있다. WTL 수행이 학습에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지 확인하기 위해 <추리와 논증> 수업에 WTL을 적용해보았다. WTL 수행 방식 중 강의 요약을 비형식적으로 수행하게 하고 다음 수업 시간에 전체 피드백을하거나 반복 설명하는 방식으로 진행하였다. 또 필요에 따라 개인 피드백도 하였다. 수행 결과는 WTL을실시한 학기와 실시하지 않은 학기의 교육효과성 분석들을 비교하는 것과 WTL을 실시한 분반과 그렇지않은 분반들의 성적을 비교하는 방식으로 확인해 보았다. 그 결과 WTL을 실시한 학기들에서 교육효과가있음이 드러났고, 평균 성적 또한 향상되었으며, 편차도 줄어들었다. 결론적으로 관련 자료들은 WTL 수행이 학습 효과를 향상시키며 도움이 된다는 것을 보여준다.
The purpose of this study is to apply WTL, which is part of WAC, to liberal arts subjects, and to check the results. Both WAC and WTL are based on the fact that all writing is fundamentally a tool for thinking and a positive way of learning, but unlike WAC's writing, WTL does not aim at completed writing. WTL is writing as a tool to lead to in-depth and effective learning by activating students' thinking about the subject matter. Since it is a tool, it is not standardized, and various methods that can achieve learning effects can be developed for each lecture. In order to check whether WTL performance has a positive effect on learning, WTL was applied to the <Inference and Argumentation> class. Among the WTL implementation methods, the lecture was summarized in an informal manner, and full feedback was provided in the next class or repeated explanations were conducted. Also, personal feedback was provided as needed. The performance results were confirmed by comparing the educational effectiveness analysis of the semesters with a nd w ithout the WTL, a nd b y comparing the grades o f those with a nd without W TL. As a r esult, w e were a b le t o show that there was an educational effect in the semesters in which WTL was conducted, that the average grade was improved, and that the deviation decreased. In conclusion, related data show that WTL performance is helpful and improves learning effectiveness.
