본 연구는 장자우화에 기반한 유아인성을 증진하고자 장자우화 중심 유아인성교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 프로그램 구성을 위해 우선, 관련 문헌연구 및 선행연구, 교사 인터뷰를 기초로 목적 및 목표를 구성하였으며, 교육내용은 장자우화 선정 및 재구성을 토대로 전문가 협의와 현장교사의 타당도 검증을 거쳐 장자우화 12개 활동을 구성하였다. 장자우화에 나타나는 장자사상이나 선행연구를 분석하여 교수·학습전개 방식을 개발하였으며 교수전략은 표현, 언어, 신체활동 등 상호 관계적이고 자유로운 형식의 통합 활동으로 선정하였다. 이에 개발된 본 프로그램은 유아인성교육의 덕목과 가치 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는, 장자우화에 기반한 유아인성교육 프로그램이 교실 전체에서 유아인성교육 실천의 적합성과 유아에게 매우 가치 있고 활용가능성이 높은 프로그램임을 시사한다.
The purpose of this study is to develop and apply a young children’s character education program centered on fable of Zhuang Zi and to verify its effectiveness in order to promote young children’s character development. For the composition of the program, the objectives and goals were established based on the related literature research, prior studies, and teacher interviews. The educational contents of the program were verified through expert consultation and validated by field teachers on the basis of selection and reconstruction of the fable of Zhuang Zi. The method of teaching and learning development was constructed by analyzing the thoughts present in the fable of Zhuang Zi and prior studies. The teaching strategy was selected as an integration of interrelated and free-form activities, such as expression, language, and physical activity. As consequence, the developed program was found to have a positive effect on the virtues and values of young children’s character education. The results suggest that the young children’s character education program based on Zhuang Zi possesses practical applicability for the general classroom, having valuable implications for young children’s character education.
