본 연구는 위인중심 스토리텔링 역사교육활동이 유아의 대인문제해결력 및 국가정체성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 만 5세 실험집단 유아 18명에게 8주간 매주 2회, 총 16회의 위인중심 스토리텔링 역사교육을 적용하고, 비교집단 유아 18명에게는 생활주제에 따른 활동을 진행한 후 집단 간 사후검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 위인중심 스토리텔링 역사교육 실시 후 실험집단은 비교집단 보다 대인문제해결력이 유의미하게 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 또한 위인중심 스토리텔링 역사교육에 참여한 실험집단 유아들이 비교집단 유아 보다 국가정체성이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 이처럼 역사 속 위인이 고난과 역경을 해결하고 풀어나가는 이야기 중심 교육활동이 유아의 대인문제해결력과 국가정체성에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었으며, 본 결과를 토대로 유아역사교육을 위한 효과적인 교수학습방법에 대한 논의를 이끌 수 있었다.


The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of great human-centered storytelling history education activities on children's interpersonal problem solving ability and national identity based on the recognition of the importance and value of early childhood history education. To this end, a storytelling history education centered on 8 great human was applied to 18 children aged 5 years old in the experimental group for 8 weeks, a total of 16 times(twice a week), and 18 children in the comparative group were conducted according to the life themes. After that, the post-tests of the experimental group and the comparative group were compared. As a result, the experimental group significantly improved its ability to solve interpersonal problems compared to the comparative group after providing great storytelling history education. In addition, the national identity of the experimental group children who participated in the history education of storytelling centered on great human was significantly improved than that of the comparative group. Through this, we were able to see that story-oriented educational activities, in which great human in history solve hardships and adversity, had a positive impact on children's ability to solve problems between people and their identity to the nation, and based on the results, we were able to lead discussions on effective teaching methods for early childhood history education.
