The neutrality of the 10-days community and the orientation of the May language

사건들이 숱하게 일어난다. 이들 중 역사적 사건이 되는 것은 매우 의미있는 일이다. 그러나 역사적 사건이 되는 것이 오히려 의미를 한정하는 경우도 있다. 나는 5·18이 대표적이라고 생각한다. 5·18은 과거의 사건이 아니라 여전히 미래적인 것이라고 보기 때문이다. 모리스 블랑쇼의 『밝힐 수 없는 공동체』는 실현 불가능성을 바탕으로 삼고 기술되어 있다. 1983년 모리스 블랑쇼가 80년 오월 광주에서 펼쳐진 ‘열흘 공동체’의 진실을 알았다면 이 책의 어조는 달라졌을 것이다. ‘열흘의 공동체’에서 우리는 불확실한 미래의 다양한 가능성을 읽어낼 수 있어야 한다. 그러기 위해서는 이데올로기, 이념의 각축장에서 벗어나 중성성을 회복할 필요가 있다. ‘사태’라는 말은 사건과 대비할 때, 적절한 의미망을 형성할 수 있다. 하지만 ‘광주’라는 말에 붙는 ‘사태’는 폭도라는 심상지리와 강하게 연결되어 있다. 50년 광주 오월의 사태성은 ‘중성성’으로 순화해서 접근을 시작할 필요가 있다. 이렇게 마련된 의미의 장에서 우리는 시학의 대극점에서 반시학을 모색할 수 있다. 또한 텍스트사회학에서 제시하는 사회어를 비판적으로 검토하면서 오월언어가 문화어로 나아갈 수 있는 다채로운 경로를 탐색해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

However, the situation attached to the word 'Gwangju' is strongly connected with the imaginary geography of a mob. The situation in May 1980, Gwangju, needs to be refined to “neutral” and start approaching. In the field of meaning prepared in this way, we can seek anti-poetry at the extreme point of poetry. In addition, while critically reviewing the social language suggested in textual sociology, the May language will be able to explore a variety of paths through which the May language can advance as a cultural language.
