본 연구는 예비유아교사 대상의 고전문학읽기를 통한 인간이해 프로그램이 인문학적 소양에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 26명이 총 8회의 고전문학읽기를 통한 인간이해 프로그램에 참여하였으며, 연구결과 예비유아교사들의 인문학적 소양이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 그 구체적인 내용으로 나를 돌아보는 “성찰”이 시작되다, 타인에 대해 “공감”하게 되다, 전공과의 “관련성”을 발견하다가 추출되었다. 본 연구는 인간 가치와 존엄성의 위기를 초래할 것으로 예견되는 4차 산업혁명 시대에, 특히 유아를 가르칠 교사들이 이러한 시대 변화에 따라 갖추어야 할 새로운 자질과 능력으로 인간 본질에 대한 이해 및 공감을 기반으로 하는 인문학적 소양이야말로 그 해답이 될 수 있다는 측면에서 유아교사교육의 질적 변화를 위한 심층적이고 확장적인 시도에 의미 있는 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the Classical Literature Reading Program for Preservice Teachers. For this purpose, twenty-six pre-service teachers in an early childhood education department participated eight times in the Classical Literature Reading Program. The results showed that the Classical Literature Reading Program positively affected early childhood pre-service teachers’ humanistic competencies. Based on the results, some suggestions were provided for researchers and teachers for further investigation. This study implies that intelligent information technology needs to be understood not through the logic of technique (or capital) but that of education, and that the dignity and values of human beings should be taught based on educational imagination. This study also highlighted that our relationship with artificial intelligence and virtual reality should be prepared for in advance since it stands at the center of the 4th industrial revolution.
