Since the lack of texts on the artistic works causes the reader's misunderstanding, the powerful selective insight is naturally required for the readers of artistic works in order to increase their understanding and developing further research about the works. In the case of the writer named Lee Tae-jun, after he has published his writings in the newspapers or periodicals, he usually rewrote the whole or partiaI text while publishing them in one new volume. This matter was already discussed by the critics except his long novels. The purpose of this study was to review and discuss the problem of Lee's rewriting especially with his long novel called "Sasang ui Wolya" . From this study, it was found that discord also existed between his selected writing in the newspapers and that in a single publication; this seems to be similar in his short novels. Therefore, the selection of a single volume published by Ulumunwhasa is somewhat problematic in the way of discussion for the artistic world of the writer Lee Tae-jun.
