본 연구는 한국사회 가족 위기 담론이 확산되는 가운데 가족 담론에 대한 재고(再考)의 필요성에 따라 높은 화제성을 얻은 최근 가족 드라마의 연구를 통해 가족에 대한 대중적 인식을 파악하고자 하였다. 이에 드라마 <스카이 캐슬>에 관한 소셜 미디어(social media) 빅데이터 기법으로 수용자 반응을 분석하고, 사회적으로 확장된 정신분석이론을 참고하여 다음의 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 우리 사회 가족위기에는 상류층을 향한 신경증적 욕망을 갖는 동시에 치유적 소망을 갖는 모순적인 심리적 에너지의 시대정신이 담지되어 있다. 둘째, 우리사회 부모들은 자녀에 대한 집착과 입시로 인한 처절한 모성에 공감할 정도로 지쳐있으며 이에 부모를 위한 치유적 환경 제공의 필요가 있다. 셋째, 우리 사회는 높은 기준의 성공지향성으로 인해 부모들의 스트레스와 자녀에 대한 과도한 애착을 유발한다. 넷째, 사회문화적 성공제일주의 판타지는 깨져야 하며 자신만의 고유성을 찾는 교육환경이 제공되어야 할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 빛나는 성공 뿐 아니라 삶의 그림자도 수용하며 가족 간 화해, 용서, 존중을 격려하는 치유적, 문화적 토양의 확산 필요성이 있다. 여섯째, 우리사회는 부모와 자녀 모두가 행복해지는 미래를 향한 치유적 과제에 직면해 있다.
This study analyzed the public perception of the family in a recent, popular family drama. The aim of the study was to rethink the family discourse as family crises increased in the Korean society. Accordingly, the reaction of the audience for the drama, “Sky Castle” was analyzed using big data techniques of social media and the obtained results were analyzed using socially extended psychoanalytic theory. First, social family crisis in the era of contradictory psychological energy is because of a neurological desire to lean towards the upper classes. Second, there is the desperate need for motherhood in our society and mothers are over anxious about their children which creates a need for a healing environment for parents. Third, our society promotes parental stress and excessive attachment to children due to its high standards of success orientation. Fourth, the socio-cultural, success-first fantasy in the society has to be replaced by an educational environment that helps discover ones uniqueness. Fifth, there is a need for a healing and cultural spirit that embraces failures as well as successes of life and promotes family reconciliation, forgiveness and respect. Sixth, our society faces the challenge of providing a healing environment in the future where both parents and children can be happy.
