스마트 독서대는 Eye Tracking 기술을 이용하여 책장을 넘기는 행동을 자동으로 진행되도록 설계되었다. 기존의 스마트 독서대는 단순히 버튼을 누르거나, 스위치를 키면 페이지 한쪽이 넘어가는 형식으로 만들어졌다. 하지만 이름이 스마트 독서대 인만큼 모든 행위 자체가 자동으로 이루어지는 독서대를 만들기로 하였고, Eye Tracking 방식을 채택한 스마트 독서대를 만들게 되었다. 이 독서대는 크게 두가지 기능을 가지고 있다. 앞서말한 Eye Tracking기술을 이용한 책장넘기기가 그 첫 번째 이며, 자동 밝기 조절 기능이 그 두 번째이다. 즉 어두운 환경에서도 책을 읽을 수 있도록 제공할 예정이며, 이때의 Eye Tracking기능도 기존의 Eye Tracking 기술보다 민감해진다.
The smart reading desk is designed to automatically turn over the bookshelf using Eye Tracking technology. Conventional smart reading boards are designed so that one side of the page can be turned by simply pressing a button or pressing a switch. However, as the name is a smart reading stand, we decided to make a reading stand in which all actions are automatically performed. This reading desk has two main functions. Bookshelf turning using eye tracking technology is the first, and automatic brightness adjustment is the second. In other words, the book will be provided for reading in a dark environment, and the eye tracking function will be more sensitive than the existing eye tracking technology.
