본 연구는 대학 교원을 대상으로 교수역량에 관한 인식 및 요구도 분석을 위한 조사 도구를 개발하여 적용하는 데 있다. 이에 선행연구 고찰을 통해 교수역량 및 요소를 도출하고, 도출된 교수역량 체계에 대해 델파이 조사를 통한 전문가 검토를 거쳐 조사 도구를 개발하였다. 조사 도구는 타당도 및 신뢰도 검증을 실시하였고, 대학 교원을 대상으로 적용하여 교수역량의 인식 및 요구도 분석 실시 후 수정·보완을 거쳐 최종 도구로 완성하였다. 이에 본 연구결과를 제시하면, 첫째, 국내·외 선행연구 고찰을 통해 필수적으로 포함되어야 할 교수역량을 '기본역량'과 '수업역량'으로 구분하여 도출하고, 대학의 특성을 반영하여 '지원역량'을 추가하고 3개 영역 및 52개 요소로 교수역량 체계를 구성하여 조사 도구를 개발, 적용하였다. 둘째, 본 연구의 조사 도구 개발 및 적용의 체계적인 과정 및 절차를 제시하여 대학의 교수역량 인식이나 요구도 조사 도구 개발 및 활용의 안내 자료 및 지침이 될 수 있도록 하였다. 셋째, 교수역량에 대한 인식 및 요구도 조사 결과의 타당성과 활용성을 높이기 위해 IPA에 Borich 요구도 분석과 LfFM 분석을 단계적으로 추가 실시하였다.
This study is intended to develop and apply research tools for the analysis of recognition and needs regarding teaching competencies to university faculty members. In response, the research tools were developed through expert review through Delphi survey on the teaching competencies and the model of teaching competencies derived through consideration of prior research. Research tools were conducted for validity and reliability verification, and the final tools were completed after the recognition and needs analysis of teaching competencies by applying them to university faculty members. If this research result is presented, firstly, through consideration of prior domestic and foreign researchs, the required teaching capacity was derived by dividing into 'basic competencies' and 'instructor competencies'. In addition to 'support competencies' reflecting the characteristics of each university, the research tools were developed and applied by forming the model of teaching competencies of three areas and sub-components. Second, by presenting systematic processes and procedures for the development and application of research tools in this study, universities will be provided guidance needed to develop and utilize research tools for the analysis of recognition and needs regarding teaching competencies. Third, the recognition and needs for teaching competencies were also gradually added Borich's Needs Assessment Model and LfFM(The Locus for Focus Model) to the IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) in order to increase the validity and usability of the survey results.
