이 연구에서는 2015 개정 특수 음악과 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 3～4학년 음악 교과서를 분석한다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 3～4학년 음악과 교육과정과 특수 음악 교육과정을 비교 분석하고 선행 연구 고찰을 통해 분석 기준을 설정하였다. 이러한 분석 기준을 바탕으로 영역별 비율과 성취기준에 따른 학습 활동 분석, 개념별 분석, 내용상의 오류 등을 점검해 본 결과 개선 방안을 논의하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과서는 학습자중심 자기 주도 수업 활동이 가능하도록 개발되어야 한다. 둘째, 음악 교과서로서 음악 중심 목표 달성이 관건이 되어야 한다. 셋째, 2015 개정 특수교육 기본교육과정에서 음악의 내용체계가 재정립 되어야 한다. 넷째, 교과서 학습 활동에 있어 융합과 통합, 타 교과 연계가 필요하다. 우리나라같이 국가 교육과정을 바탕으로 교과서를 집필해야 하는 구조에서 교과서는 학교에서 이루어지는 모든 활동의 핵심 교재로 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 따라서 3, 4학년뿐만이 아닌 다른 학년의 음악 교과서 분석 과정의 후속 연구를 통해 교육과정, 교과서 개발에 관한 끊임없는 연구와 체계적인 시스템 정립을 위해 노력해야 한다.
This study attempted to analyze music textbooks for 3rd and 4th graders from special elementary schools according to 2015 revised exceptional music curriculums. For this, the importance of music concept was recognized through comparative analysis on 2015 revised music curriculums for 3rd and 4th graders and special elementary music curriculums. Furthermore, this study confirmed that the importance of ‘music concept’ was more emphasized than general music curriculums in terms of even percentage of learning activities by category, necessity of overall reestablishment of curriculums and analysis by music concept. After discussing a plan to improve through multi-aspect analysis, the results found the followings: First, textbooks need to be developed in a way to enable learner-centric, self-directed learning with easy-to-understand sentences and appropriate contents. Second, as a music textbook, it should be a key concern to achieve a music-centered goal. Third, music contents have to be reestablished in 2015 revised basic curriculums for special education. Fourth, in textbook learning activities, convergence, integration and connection with other textbooks are required. A textbook is crucial as a key element of all school activities. In particular, under the system where textbooks should be developed based on national curriculums just like the Republic of Korea, curriculums are also important. Therefore, there should be multiple efforts for continued R&Ds on textbook & curriculum development, fundamental work and establishment of a well-organized system.
