본 연구는 성경 인물 사라의 여성 경험을 여성주의상담 관점으로 이해하고, 이를 통해 가부장 환경으로 인한 이중구속의 문제를 가진 기독교 여성 내담자에 대한 목회적 돌봄 방안을 제시하는 목적이 있다. 가나안 여정에 나타나는 사라의 경험에 대해 한국교회는 순종의 여인으로 주로 소개하고 있다. 하지만 그 경험에 내재된 이중구속의 고통은 깊은 관심을 받지 못했다. 오히려 사라와 유사한 이중구속의 상황에 처한 여성들에게 순종의 모습만을 우선시하는 경향을 보인다. 이에 본 연구는 먼저, 사라의 이중구속 상황을 Kohut의 자기심리학 이론을 통한 자기대상 변화를 살펴봄으로 재구성하여 여성주의상담 관점이 가질 수 있는 이해의 틀을 마련하였다. 또한, 이를 여성주의상담 관점을 가진 Neuger의 상관관계적 나선 이해를 적용하여 여성으로서의 경험과 신학적, 심리적 이해를 분석하였다. 이러한 이해와 분석을 통해 기독교 여성 내담자의 가치충돌을 해소해 주는 목회적 돌봄 방안을 제안하고 있다. 이를 통해 본 연구가 기독교 상담현장에서 가부장적인 이중구속의 상황에 처한 여성이 자기 목소리를 찾고 긍정적 변화를 통해 악순환을 끊을 수 있는 긍정적 회복을 도울 수 있기를 기대해본다.
This study begins from understanding Biblical Sarah’s experience as a woman from feminist counseling perspective. Korean church introduces Sarah in the journey to Canaan as an obedient woman. However, the double-bind underneath the experience has not received much attention. Rather, the tendency is to prioritize obedience to women in similar double-bind as Sarah. The goal of this study is to provide pastoral care for female Christian clients experiencing double-bind problems in patriarchal environment. First, this study reconstructed Sarah’s double-bind using Kohut’s self- object change to introduce feminist counseling perspective. Afterwards, this study applied Neuger’s correlational spiral to analyze theological and psychological understanding of woman’s experience. Based on the results, this study suggests pastoral care method dissolving value clash in Christian women clients. This study hopes to offer positive recovery to patriarchally double-bound women in Christian counseling through finding their own voice and positive change.
