본 연구는 사회적 자본 이론을 토대로 비전공유의 개념과 이에 대한 소비자생활협동조합(이하 생협)에서의 비전공유의 필요성을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 조합원 비전공유와 충성도(태도적 충성도, 행동적 충성도)의 영향관계를 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 인지부조화 이론을 근거로 한 생협에서의 프렌드십 요인의 필요성을 제시하여 앞서 살펴본 비전공유와 충성도 사이의 영향관계에 대한 조절효과를 살펴보는데 연구목적이 있다. 한살림과 아이쿱생협의 총 294명 조합원을 대상으로 수집한 설문지를 통해 실증분석을 실시하였고, 이에 대한 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소비자생활협동조합의 조합원 비전공유는 태도적 충성도와 행동적 충성도에 모두 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 프렌드십은 조합원 비전공유와 태도적 충성도의 관계에 있어서 유의미한 정(+)의 조절효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 프렌드십이 조합원 비전공유와 행동적 충성도의 관계에 있어서 유의한 조절효과를 나타내지 못하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 생협은 조합원 비전공유와 조합원들간의 프렌드십 형성에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 이를 조합원에게 확산시키기 위한 다양한 프로그램의 개발과 활동을 전개할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.
The interest and growth of consumer cooperatives have been steadily increasing due to consumers seeking ethical consumption along with safe food purchases from environmental pollution. Behind the growing size of cooperatives, members are also increasing as simple consumers who don't understand the value and vision of unions, a task for the cooperative to address. This study investigates the effects of vision sharing on loyalty in consumers cooperative’s members. The study focused on how vision sharing of members affect loyalty (attitudinal loyalty, and behavioral loyalty) and also examined the moderating role of friendship. In order to test the hypotheses, we used a sample of 294 members from the Hansalim and iCOOP cooperatives. Results of regression analysis showed that vision sharing had a positive effect on attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty. Friendship had a statistically significant moderating effect on the relationship between vision sharing and attitudinal loyalty but not a statistically significant moderation effect on the relationship between vision sharing and behavioral loyalty. As a result, it is important to note that recognizing and sharing a vision is an important factor as a strategy for increasing the loyalty of members and for sustained growth and to strengthen the friendship between members. The implications, future research directions, and limitations of this study were also discussed.
