Although other empirical studies have generated evidence of the benefits of employee empowerment, there is little study regarding investigating the relationship among empowerment, employee's age and nationality. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction in light of the moderating effects of employees' age and nationality. We collected 361 surveys from hotel employees in the US and South Korea and subjected the responses. In order to analyze our data, the research used descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, path models. Regarding the results, first, the study indicated that there is a positive relationship between employee empowerment and job satisfaction. Moreover, the study found the moderating role of employees' age and nationality among employees' age and nationality.
