이 연구의 목적은 마이스터고에서의 취업지도 활동이 졸업생의 전공-직무 일치도에 미치는 영향을 구명하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 마이스터고 졸업생을 대상으로 재학 당시의 취업지도 활동이 전공-직무 일치도에 도움이 된 정도와 현재 자신의 전공-직무 일치도를 조사하고, 변인들 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 마이스터고 졸업생의 전공과 직무가 내용면에서 일치하는 비율은 전체의 47.1%였고, 수준면에서 일치하는 비율은 35.8%로 나타났다. 둘째, 마이스터고의 취업지도 활동이 전공-직무 일치도 향상에 도움이 된 정도는 5점 만점에 평균 3.09로 나타났다. 취업지도 활동의 영역들 중에서 ‘취업 능력 향상 지도’ 영역의 활동이 3.40으로 가장 높게 나타났고, ‘학생 이해 자료 수집’영역은 3.22로 나타났으며, ‘직업세계에 대한 이해’영역은 3.03으로 나타났다. 그리고 ‘취업 매칭’영역은 2.99로 나타났으며, ‘사후 관리’영역은 2.35로 나타났다. 셋째, 마이스터고 졸업생의 전공-직무 일치도에 대한 취업지도 활동이 미치는 영향에 대한 설명력은 ‘전문교과 이론 교육’활동이 가장 높았다. 그 다음으로는 ‘관심 직무에 대한 정보 제공’ 활동과 ‘전문교과 실습 교육’의 순으로 높았다. 입사시험 합격을 위한 단기간의 취업지도 활동은 오히려 전공-직무 일치도에 낮은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
This research aims to study the effect of employment guidance at meister high schools on major-job matching by analysing graduates’ views on their past experiences of employment guidance and their present major-job match. Ultimately, this paper intends to give sufficient information to improve both the employment guidance skills at meister high schools and the major-job match rate. The following are the results of this research:First, the match rate for meister high school graduates’ major-work content was 47.1% and the match rate for major-work level was 35.8%. Second, the score for the influence of employment guidance at meister high schools on the major-job match was above the general level, at an average of 3.09 out of 5. Third, it was confirmed that employment guidance at meister high schools had 29.0% explanatory power on the major-work content match rate of graduates and 28.2% on the major-work level match rate. Among the categories of employment guidance activities, guidance on improving the capacity for employment was the highest at 23.8%. In particular, theoretical education and practical training education for specialised subjects constituted a large part.
