본 연구는 한국아동청소년패널(KCYPS) 중1에서 고3까지의 자료를 활용하여 가족관계의 친밀성이 봉사활동 만족도를매개로 하여 공동체의식에 미치는 영향을 종단적으로 분석하였으며, 그 영향 관계가 남녀학생 간에 차이가 있는지를비교하였다. 통계적 방법으로 잠재성장모형과 다집단분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족관계의친밀성, 봉사활동 만족도, 공동체의식은 학년이 올라가면서 선형적으로 증가하며, 초기치와 변화율에 개인차가 있음을알 수 있었다. 둘째, 남녀학생을 구분하지 않았을 경우, 봉사활동 만족도 초기값과 변화율은 각각 부분매개효과를지니는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 가족관계 친밀성 초기값은 봉사활동 만족도의 변화율이나 공동체의식의 변화율에직ㆍ간접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 남녀학생을 구분하여 모형을 검증한 결과, 중학교 1학년 남학생의 경우는부분매개모형이고 중학교 1학년 여학생은 완전매개모형인 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 중1 이후부터 고3까지 남녀학생모두 봉사활동 만족도 변화율이 가족관계 친밀성의 변화율과 공동체의식의 변화율을 매개하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 통해 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 중1 남학생의 공동체의식 함양을 위해서는 가족관계친밀성과 봉사활동 만족도를 모두 증가시킬 필요가 있으며, 여학생의 경우에는 가족관계 친밀성 향상을 위해 노력할필요가 있다. 둘째, 중2부터 고3학년까지 매년 남학생은 가족관계 친밀성을 증가시킬 필요가 있으며, 여학생은 가족관계친밀성과 별도로 봉사활동 만족도도 함께 증가시킬 필요가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to see the mediating effects satisfaction with volunteer activities between family intimacy and sense of community of adolescents, and to test difference of this effect relation between gender. Longitudinal data set using six years data from 2010(1st) to 2015(6th) among ‘Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey’. As a statistical method, Latent growth curve modeling and multi-group analysis was employed. The results of this study was as follows. First, the three variables this study was to rise linearly as school year, and had personal differences in initial status and change rate. Second, if not distinguish between male and female, the initial status and change rate of satisfaction with volunteer activities was the partially mediated effect between two variables. But initial status of family intimacy was not significant direct and indirect influence on change rate of satisfaction with volunteer activities and change rate of sense of community. Third, if distinguish between male and female, boys of first-year grade in middle school has the partially mediated effect model and girls has the perfectly mediated effect model. Also, change rate of family intimacy and sense of community of both boys and girls from 1st grade in middle school to 3 grade high school were no mediated by change rate of satisfaction with volunteer activities. This study suggested based on the results as follows. First, to build sense of community of boys of first-year grade in middle school need to increase both family intimacy and satisfaction with volunteer activities. And to build sense of community of girls of first-year grade in middle school need to increase only family intimacy. Second, to build sense of community of boys from 1st grade in middle school to high school 3 grade need to increase family intimacy every year. To build sense of community of girls during this period need to increase not only family intimacy but also satisfaction with volunteer activities every year.
